September PetSmart Haul

Today I went to PetSmart to buy some new dry food, wet food, treats, and toys for the Suk. I spent $36 dollars (with a PetSmart discount card & Blue Buffalo coupon). Suki was so excited when I walked in the door she couldn't even wait for me to get the stuff out of the tote!

I hear bells!
BLUE Buffalo Indoor Health Adult (Salmon & Brown Rice Recipe) Dry Food
I ended up using a Blue Buffalo Coupon and saved $3.00 off a 7lb. bag of Blue Buffalo Healthy Living Salmon flavored dry food (I got it for $16.99 instead of $19.99). I poured it into our 10lb small dog auto feeder, and Suki right away went over to taste it. She seemed pleased.

Assorted Cans of BLUE Buffalo Canned Cat Food
I bought 11 different flavors of the smaller cans of BLUE canned cat food. I prefer to buy the smaller cans because Suki finishes them faster and they dont get old and crusty. I think she also likes taste variety in her life, so I try to give her a good mix of flavors every day.

BLUE Wilderness Chicken & Trout Natural Soft-Moist Treats
I picked up a new bag of treats, BLUE Wilderness Chicken & Trout. They are really soft/moist which Suki prefers I think to the hard kind of treats. She won't eat hard treats unless I break them apart hard treats to they are easier for her to eat. Such a baby!

Grreat Choice Nature Latrice Ball
I can't ever leave a pet store without grabbing a new toy, so today I went for a faux yarn ball with a bell inside. Right now as I type, Suki is laying down on the hardwood floor lazily batting at the new toy. I think she likes it.

Growing!

Suki loves this cat tree so much. No matter how uncomfortable it might be on her bum she refuses to sleep anywhere else at night. It is adorable. She is getting so big!

This is my bed for night time and I will never grow out of it!

Why Suki Sits in Windows

The absolute favorite place for my cat to be during the day or night is in front of an open window.  We all know the main reasons why this is such a hot spot for felines- they are territorial, curious, and natural hunters. But I want to know - what funny idea do you have about why your cat sits in the window?

My own theory why Suki sits in the window every day is because she wants to let the stray cats outside know who's house this is! I see her glaring at them as her tail gets all puffy... She is not about to start sharing her left overs with no street cats. In my theory, Suki is scarred from her old outside life where she had to fight for even the smallest amount of food. She loves her collar (actual fact) and is very territorial about her new house.

Why does your cat stare out the window?

Trader Joe's Canned Cat Food Review

Trader Joe's canned cat food is a cheap choice for healthy wet food for your cat. At only $0.59 cents a can, it is affordable and convenient (if you shop at Trader Joe's). There are also no by-products in these wet foods.

Suki seems to enjoy all three of these taste varieties. The food is pretty moist upon opening the can, although I usually need to add a spoonful of water each additional day she eats it after it has been refrigerated. Also, since the cans are big, they last through 3-4 feedings, and Suki seems to get bored of the flavor by the last feeding.

Trader Joe's, if you are listening-  Suki and I think it would be a good idea if you made your cans smaller, and offered 2 more flavors, with at least one of them being more "giblet-like"
